To
be valid, records must be established in competitions governed by the National
Standard Three-Position Air Rifle Rules and sanctioned by USA Shooting.

Notes
on National Record Recognition:
1.
To see the official rules regarding the recognition of National Records
by the National Three Position Air Rifle Council, see Rule 11.0, page 40, National
Records, in the National Standard Three-Position Air Rifle Rules.
2.
To be recognized as a National Record, the score must be fired in a
competition that is conducted under the National Standard Three-Position Air
Rifle Rules and sanctioned by USA Shooting.
3.
National Record Applications must give the name of the competitor, the
competitor’s address, the organization or team represented, the date of birth
of the competitor, the competition date and location where the record was fired,
the name of the organization that organized the competition, the score fired and
a certification that the competition was conducted in full accord with the
National Standard Rules.
Targets for all possible record scores must be submitted for review by
the National Council.
