CMP AFFILIATE CENTER FIRE
AMMUNITION SALES PROGRAM

CMP affiliated clubs and state associations have the benefit of being able to purchase center fire ammunition at special prices for use in their highpower rifle programs. The ammunition is available as a result of special agreements that the CMP makes with leading ammunition manufacturers. A combination of volume purchase agreements and CMP subsidies allows prices to be kept as low as possible in order to encourage clubs and state associations to conduct more highpower rifle shooting activities.

This CMP ammunition sales program is available only to affiliated clubs and state associations that have highpower rifle programs. The ammunition that is purchased through this program must be used for marksmanship training or competition activities. Ammunition purchased through this program may be resold to a member of an affiliated club or state association who uses it in highpower rifle practice or competition. If any of this ammunition is resold to non-members or for other purposes, the CMP affiliation privileges of the organization that purchased the ammunition may be suspended.

At the present time, the only ammunition available under this program is 5.56mm or .223 cal. ammunition. The CMP expects to add additional ammunition items to this list in the future to support other popular service rifle and service pistol target programs. All 5.56mm ammunition is packaged and sold only in units of 1000 rounds. The ammunition is drop-shipped from the factory. It comes in special CMP packaging or with CMP labels. Orders must be placed through the CMP Program Support Division where eligibility to order is confirmed (affiliation status, verification of highpower rifle program, etc.). Full payment must accompany all orders.

Black Hills remanufactured ammunition has the same velocity/point of impact as the new ammunition with the same bullets.
