WATCH NATIONAL TROPHY TEAM MATCH SCORES TODAY. The first three days of the 2008 National Trophy Rifle Matches are now over with Sergeant First Class Norman Anderson, USAR, winning the President's Rifle Match on Monday; California civilian Shawn McKenna winning the National Trophy Individual Rifle Match Tuesday and Army Sergeants First Class Lance Dement and Grant Singley winning the Hearst Doubles two-person team match yesterday. Today is the National Trophy Team Match, where 75 six-person teams will compete for the National Dogs of War Trophy that was commissioned by the U. S. Government in 1903. The National Trophy is regarded by many as the most important team trophy in American marksmanship. Also today, civilian state teams will compete for the Soldier of Marathon Trophy, junior teams will compete for the Minuteman Trophy and Reserve Component teams will fight for the Hilton Trophy. You can follow all the results on the CMP website. Scores from the first 200 yard standing position stage should start being posted around 10:00 AM Eastern time. By 3:00 or 3:30 PM, you will be able to see complete scores for all four stages of the team matches. We invite you to check National Trophy Team Match results throughout the day |
