I received the Danish, less wood, M1 Garand and was very surprised to get a rifle in very good condition. I have now fitted a new Boyd's stock to it and I have a very nice M1. My thanks to everyone with CMP. Steve D.

I received My Greek Rack Grade H+R this past Tuesday morning and was surprised how fast the turn around was on my order, 21 days total from the time I mailed my order in. I had went to the Harrisburg, Pa Gun show this past December and got to pick my M1 out. It was a great experience to be able to see what was available from the CMP.It was a pleasure to be able to talk to the staff while at the show. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I have purchased other M1's off of the CMP in the past 2 years and have been well pleased with the service. Keep up the good work. I hope the CMP comes back to the Harrisburg, Pa Gun show again in March. After I received My rifle, I cleaned her all up and have her ready to go up to the rifle range. I'm looking forward to shooting a few bullseyes out of her. My Father,Uncles and I have enjoyed shooting M1 Garands for years. I had the pleasure of driving down to Anniston on 13 January and picking up my 1917 SG and M2 Ammo in person. The people there were great! And I am very happy with the rifle, as with everything else I've ever received from CMP. I've posted info about it on the forum. I'm really looking forward to the Anniston store, if and when it happens, although it could be dangerous to my bank account. Fortunately, my wife appreciates classic firearms almost as much as I do! Good morning. As a new member to the CMP and a first time purchaser, I would like to say that I am extremely please with my first (of I hope many
more) M1 Garand. Have shown it proudly to my father (a Navy WWII veteran) and another CMP member. The comments were that it was an outstanding example of the Garand. Please keep up the good work and thank every one involved.

I just received my "service grade" M1 Garand this Saturday. It is a fine rifle -- looks good, no mechanical problems and shoots a very tight grouping. My sincerest thanks for granting me the opportunity to own such a great piece of history that I otherwise wouldn't be able to afford. Perhaps in the future, I will have enough saved to order a 1903 Springfield.

Mr. Michaels, Houston Show - Wanted to let you know your CMP people were the greatest, most friendly and most helpful group I've been around at a gun show or company group in a long time! Good Day Orest-Just a note to let you know about the treatment I received by your folks in Anniston. I saw the article in the AR about the CMP + felt kind of down that I haven,t ordered in awhile-have not been able to help at the local club either on account of disability.--Had seen on CSP that a few 6 mil recs.had been shipped out so thought I would send off an order +see about one-want to build match rifle-Anyway received a rapid reply back from a Deshay Brewer saying that 6,s were being held for auction + if there was any other item I might be interested in to give a call. I called in a few days + let me tell you I have not had any dealings with such a nice-pleasant-helpful+just a wonderful person in ages!!! She had me talk to another young lady in shipping about what was available for recs.+ she was just as nice-I did not get her name however- Any way everything worked out when the bar recs became available-I ordered two of those. Just want to let you know what "quality" folks you have working with you! Rare in these times!!!! Would like to ask the name of the young lady in shipping as I would like to send her + Ms. Brewer a thank you card ? Looking forward to seeing you again in Reno in April+ like I told you before-you would make a GREAT pre- school teacher!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You Barry G .

A quick note of thanks. Made the trip to the North Store on Fr. Wanted the chance to meet, learn and select what would suit best for my 1st M1. The staff and store were much more than expected. Everyone took their time and made sure that I got what I was interested in and was satisfied. I cleaned up the nice SA/SG and had it out to the range on Sunday. Excellent is the only word that comes to mind. Kind of thought during the 8 hour drive that this would be a one and only trip. Once we left my kind wife started talking about the next trip and how we can make it easier on ourselves.
Needless to say will be planning another trip to the North Store in the
(hopefully) near future. Again thank you to all and keep up the good work.
Cannot tell you how nice it is to deal with such patient and kind people.

Hi,
I have developed a strong appreciation for the guys who fought in W.W.II and I'm sorry we are losing them so fast.
I have always had an appreciation for guns so those two things prompted me to buy a Garand.
Not a new one, but one with some history.
Thanks for your site and you knowledge about this fine piece of American history.
Thanks especially for the detail stripping link.
I took mine apart to refinish the wood and your step by step instructions were superb.
