You may ship anytime after the 5th of December 2005. I copied Mr. Michaels because he needs to know that customer service at CMP is probably the best I've had anywhere. Thanks to all. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Chuck O . November 28, 2005I submitted an application for an M1 Garand Collectors grade and an M1 Garand Rack grade after many years of indecision. About November 5th or 6th, 2005. I retired from my full time job at age 67 on November 16, 2005. I had planned on working for 2 or 3 more years but God told me to get out that morning. I got home after the out processing for retiring and had a notification that I was to receive an M1 Garand collector grade via FedEx the next day or so. What a great retirement gift. Thank You, CMP. Bob L . November 28, 2005 Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the CMP: I wanted to write to let all of you know how pleased I am with your rifle sales program. Wonderfully great experience. My "correct grade" Garand arrived in great shape and much sooner than expected. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all. November 25, 2005Thanks for the great rifle. The time it took to receive it was about 2 weeks from the time of order. I was anxious to shoot it but it took about a month before I could . It is an awesome shooting rifle! What fun. My dad carried one in Korea and said it was a good shooter. He fired it also and enjoyed it much. You can expect another order soon. Thanks for your great service. Mark. November 17, 2005I'd like to give great thanks to CMP & its people for my recent order from them. I'm really pleased with your nice service. Sincere Thanks, Edward C. November 17, 2005Just wanted to tell everybody at CMP what a great time I had at Camp Pendleton. Everybody I met, CMP match staff, the armorer that gave me the history of Dad's USMC '03 during rifle check in and fellow shooter, Ted Tchang, (great coach for this rookie!) who was squadded with me was most helpful and made me feel welcome. Debra and Gary's class was awesome, take it from this college professor, these two are a Dynamic Duo! I had never fired high power before, but the Saturday class prepared me for the next day and gave me the confidence to step up to the firing line. My trip to Camp Pendleton was a homecoming for me and Dad's '03, we both lived there about 35 years ago before dad (Lt. Col. Thomas H. Garity U.S.M.C.R.) was shipped out to Viet Nam. I had not been on base for about 30 years, driving to the range at the crack of dawn brought back memories of my mornings at the range with the Camp Pendleton Junior Rifle Club in the 70's. (Wish I could find that old 40x!) In a way, I felt my firing in the match was a tribute to my dad who taught me to shoot, gave me his appreciation for firearms and a set of values that have served me well in life. I'll be back next year, to honor dad and maybe win a medal! Best regards, Pat G. November 13, 2005Hello from Ft Gillem, GA . I recently purchased an H&R M1 Garand, Collector Grade. The rifle is great and now intend to purchase a 1903 Springfield. Big Army HOOAH to CMP. Thanks for helping preserve our Second Amendment and our Heritage. Barney B . COL (Retired) US Army. Ft Gillem, GA November 13, 2005Hello, I just received the 1903A3 that I had ordered. I recently purchases a 1903 (My first purchase). I cannot believe how great of condition both were in. November 12, 2005Just received my M1 rifle. Have no complaints. Always wanted to own one ever since I got out of the service way back in 1960. I qualified Expert twice. Don't know if my 71 year old eyes could do it now. Thanks again. You have a fine program. Maurie S. November 10, 2005I am 100% delighted with the receiver you folks selected to fill my order. Thank you for the outstanding service. Roy B. November 10, 2005I am truly impressed with your efficiency and immediate response. The courteous service and knowledgeable staff. I ordered a high number 1903 Springfield, with little hope of getting a great rifle. I had expected a beat up worn out relic. I was very surprised and happy with the great (No, fantastic), condition of the rifle I received. I just purchased a 1903A3 which should arrive in a day or two. I hope my luck holds out. Thanks again for your courteous and knowledgeable assistance to my questions. It is very rare indeed to have such wonderful customer relations. Thanking you again. Paul S. November 04,2005CMP North Store staff, Thanks for all of your help this morning picking out my first M1. One of the best gun shopping experiences I have ever had - I will send more customers your way! Chris. A. November 03, 2005All of you at the CMP do an amazing job in processing orders and providing us with such fine examples of American History. I would like to extend a special thanks to all who put in extra effort on my order. I mailed in an order for a M1903A3 Remington on 10/25/05 and received the Rifle on 11/02/05 ? that's amazing, what great service. You people really go the extra mile for the customer. The rifle is like new original condition and the Parkerizing on all the metal parts as well as finish on the stock group is literally perfect. You really made my day when I opened the box and pulled it out of the green bag. I am in process of cleaning all the grease of and as I go along in the cleaning process it just keeps looking better and better. Thanks again. Dave S. November 03, 2005Once again, this being the second time that I have ordered, the process was fast as can be. My CMP Remington 03-A3 arrived yesterday at noon. Ordered by snail mail the 22nd of October, sent the 1st of November. Very nice gun from the looks of it, too, as it emerges from layers of cosmoline. (I found an "I Like Ike" Campaign button in the cosmo in the barrel and thought I heard an "Ooo-rah" as I worked the action). Okay, just kidding for those who might wonder how a campaign button was lodged in the barrel. Over all, I am again, one happy camper. Thanks, CMP crew! Kam M . Carthage, IL. November 02, 2005I have received my M1 Garand back today from my gun smith and was told that after cleaning and checking it over, it was in almost new condition. I ordered the correct grade, HRA, and I am going to take it to the range this Saturday and sight it in. Thank you for a great service that you are doing for our country in preserving our Military History. Tom P. El Reno, OK. November 01, 2005I'd like to thank all of you for the great service you have provided for my first Garand. I ordered a field grade M1 and got a weapon with all Springfield parts, no mixed pieces. You delivered it exactly on the date I asked for. When I noticed a cracked front hand guard, you said sent it back. I received a replacement that was almost a perfect color match. I hope to be sending you another order very soon. Keep up the excellent service. Chuck R. November 01, 2005Sir: I must write to you and thank you for the opportunity to own a weapon (M-1 Garand) that my late father carried in the Pacific during WWII and in Korea. As I clean and polish my rifle, I think of him in the jungles of New Guinea, in the ruins of Manila, and in the bitter cold of Korea years later. My rifle was manufactured in 1941 and sent to the Marshall Islands, maybe it was his rifle? I miss my father and this rifle has brought me closer to him again. Thank you, Vincent D.
