I want to thank odcmp for a fast and efficient effort in getting me my M1 Garand. I ordered a Correct Grade, HRA, and the gun was in great shape. I would definitely recommend ODCMP to any one who is looking for a great Military Surplus weapon. Keep up the good job ! Tom P, from El Reno, OK.

I just received my latest purchase of an M-1 (Greek, field grade) and a Mark
1 M-1903. The M-1 was built in 1940 and has a beautiful finish and is in overall very nice condition. The M-1903, however, is absolutely of museum quality. Built in 1920, the finish of all metal parts as well as the stock group are literally perfect. After a thorough cleaning and inspection that would make a First Sergeant proud I proclaim that this investment in history was well worth the money. In 1964, I was drafted into Korean army. I was trained using an M1 Garand Rifle. During that time, the Korean Army requirement to qualify for basic training was to fire under 100 rounds, because the Korean Army need to save money. Therefore, army trainees spent most of their time practice with dummy rounds before going out to a live firing range. Unfortunately army trainees didn't always qualify for the marksmanship. Therefore they suffered physical abuse from instructors, it was a very common practice. In 1969, I came to the United States and joined the US Army in 1970. My basic training using an M16 was so easy to compared to my weapon in the Korean Army, which was the M1 rifle. I had long dreamed that one of these days I would own a M1garand rifle, which I had trained with during my time in the Korean Army. I ordered it from CMP in Sep 20, 2005, and received in Sep 30, 2005. Thanks to people who processed my order and shipped to me in a no time! Thanks again CMP! Yoon S. H .

The BWT showed up last week, just eight days after my order was mailed! A Naked Dane, it's a grand rifle, reeking of history and in fine condition to boot. I read the glowing feedback letters, and can only add that it's all true. I do appreciate the excellent service that you give, and treasure the chance to own a piece of our history. Thank you so much for your GREAT SERVICE. I ordered on Friday Sept 23, 2005 and received the rifles this AM (Tuesday Oct 04, 2005). I also checked the web sight and clicked on "Forgot your password" and received the e-mail with my password on the account you set up (without my having to ask) before I could open my e-mail client.
