Hello, I recently received my M1 rifle and would like to extend my thanks to your organization for processing my order so quickly. The Rifle I received was in a condition above and beyond what I expected and I could not be happier with my purchase. In my purchase request, I kindly asked that since this rifle was to be used as a collector item to have for many years, that special care be used in selecting my M1. I understand that your organization frowns on such requests, as you receive many orders and do not have the time for special requests, but it is my belief that my request was fulfilled just as I asked, and for this I am truly grateful. I would also appreciate that this email be shared with anyone who would have been responsible in the selection process, Just to let them know I appreciate what they are doing and for selecting such a fine rifle for myself. Hi, To all the Staff at CMP. You have provided me with outstanding service and every time I had questions while I was awaiting my M 1 Garand ,and my 1903 A 3 you took the time to answer them. The rifles are magnificent .These will be treasured and passed down to Son, Daughter and Grandchildren for many years as a reminder of our history and the freedoms we enjoy. Thank you for everything. Howdy, A note of thanks to you folks about the Kimber 82, 22 cal. rifle I received. I saw no flaws with the rifle until one fellow at the range was standing about 8 to 10 ft. to my left and saw a horizontal scratch along the rear of the left side of the stock. If he had not said anything I probably still wouldn't know it was there. All in all the gun is really nice, shoots quite well also. Thanks again. Chuck R.

CMP , Thank you very much for such a wonderful rifle. I have just received a M1 with a 1944 serial number and it is in outstanding condition. I could not have asked for a better piece of equipment. Thank you again, for allowing me the opportunity to purchase such a great piece of history. I recently made the trip to Camp Perry from Pittsburgh for a M1. I should have done it years earlier. The staff was very helpful in explaining answers to questions I had. They even helped narrow down my search for my perfect M1. I will definitely make the trip again next year for a M1 project rifle.
I can't bring myself to shoot the one I purchased. Michael B.

Outstanding service on my Garand purchase. This transaction went so flawlessly that I am almost at a loss for words. I am not used to this superior level of service in any sector, public or private. Whoever had a hand in this deserves a major thank you from me for a job done perfectly.  Excellent website set up and instructions made submission painless, and I still cannot believe the speed of receipt, nor the condition of the weapon.  This exceeded my expectations, and I will be talking up CMP sales to ALL the friends I have. My 15 year-old son and I received our M1 Garand several weeks ago. What a delight. The rifle functions perfectly and shoots accurately. It was carefully packaged and we were pleased and surprised with its condition and the extras that came with it. My son shoots with the Boy Scouts and a Venturing/4-H group, and he's now talking about the Garand matches that CMP describes on its website. His grandfather carried one in WWII and talked to him at length about the rifle and the war. My wife put her foot down when he (my son) started coming to the breakfast table with the Garand slung over his shoulder. We'll have to buy another Garand if I want any range time with one, but our CMP Garand provides a wonderful opportunity for my son and I to spend time together, for my son to learn more of the history of our country, and for him to discipline himself for the art of competition shooting. I just wanted to say how pleased I was to receive the Kimber Model 82 rifle I recently ordered from CMP. The speed of the shipping has my head spinning! The rifle was shipped on 7-12-05 and I received it by 1 PM the next day, before I'd even found the e-mail notice it had been shipped on my computer. The rifle is spotless; I'm looking forward to trying it out! Once again, I'm very pleased with the service from the CMP. Thanks for the care your staff obviously takes! Roger P.

I got my SA Correct Grade Friday July 8, ten calendar days after the order was placed on e-store. The rifle looks unfired with no visible wear on receiver, bolt, or op rod. There are minor dings and scratches on the stock and a couple of gouges so I assume that the stock condition is what dropped my rifle from collector to correct grade. I have verified that all parts are correct with the Scott Duff book. This rifle will be used to prepare my 17 year old son for the Naval Academy next year and a career in the USMC. Nomenclature familiarization training and snapping in started this past weekend, and range time will come soon. Thanks CMP for the fast delivery and a rifle that far exceeded my expectations. To the fine folks at the CMP, The BWT just dropped my Field Grade USGI M1 - what a great rifle! Everything is in fine shape; stocks, metal, overall condition, everything. And just three weeks from the day that I dropped the order in the mailbox to delivery. And that with the 4th of July and the Nationals in that time period! Received my m1 sa last week 7-12.looks nice. I disassembled, cleaned it everything SA. But op- rod which was a H&R. Have a H&R m1 with a SA op-rod. switched them. Thanks I'm ordering another later Noe B.

Just do it! You will never see any better Garands than these Greeks. I remember when men scoffed at $300.00 for one of your Garands and they were excellent. These will never come this way again. Mine will shoot with match Garands all day straight out of the box service grade. Soon we will say remember when you could buy a great Garand for $550.00 from CMP. Frank L.

Just got back from a North Store visit, along with a fantastic Correct Grade SA, sharp USGI Field Grade SA, and a nice reparked 5 digit SA Receiver. Can't say enough things about the fabulous staff at the North Store.  Everyone bends over backwards to help, and are a model for customer

I recieved my service grade Greek Springfield the other day. I was surprised at the excellent condition of the rifle. I disassembled, cleaned and inspected it, and found all parts were correct except for the op rod which was a Winchester. The finishing on all the parts was in excellent condition, and the stock cleaned up very well, with the usual expected dings. I am very pleased with my purchase, and want to thank you for providing this service.  Andrew K.

I just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with the USGI field grade Springfield you sent me. Not bad for a 54 year old rifle. It has the usual dents in the stock but who doesn't at that age. The barrel looks almost new, I can't wait to shoot it. All Springfield parts except for an HRA operating rod. Great service; only 15 days after you received the order I had my rifle. Kenneth D.

May I compliment you and your associates on the fine job you are doing, Received my second Greek Garand today and am as well satisfied with this one as I was on the first one. I must admit at first I was apprehensive on the Greek Issue, thinking they were sub standard to the regular USGI.. I could not have been more wrong. The Greek issues are every bit as good a quality as the USGI. Hope to be able to save up enough to buy another before you sell them all out. Thanks again for all of your help.
