You all are great. I opted for the Greek Springfield service grade and it is awesome. I couldn't be happier. Your service and product was timely and better than expected. I look forward to our further dealings. Thanks, Erik W.

I just picked up 5 M1 rifles from the Anniston CMP. I love the rifles and feel honored to own them. However, more importantly, the ladies at the Anniston distribution center was hands down the best at what they do. They took great pains to insure my satisfaction and made me feel very comfortable. I urge the management of CMP to commend these ladies and I look forward to future purchases and visits to their facility. Anyone who purchases rifles from CMP should entertain picking them up. It is well worth the effort. Again, I must thank the ladies in Anniston and can not say enough about their professional customer service. David T. H. Dequincy, LA

I just received this week a woodless Danish M1 that I'm going to build into a wedding gift, and a 1903 Springfield rifle. I couldn't be happier with both. I want to thank all the staff at Anniston for all the hard work they do. I feel it's a honor and a privilege to own these fine firearms that are a part of our history. Thanks again. Matt H.

Just wanted to say thank you very much for a great program. I heard about you all from some folks at the California Rifle and Pistol Association, and an instructor at FrontSight firearms training academy.  Everyone had the best things to say about you all. Thank you, Brad H.

Received my Rack Grade, Greek issue M1 last week. After inspecting and cleaning I was able to test fire. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it shot as well as some of my "better" 1903's and 1903A3's. The
quality and finish was better than I expected. Looking forward to the Store opening in Anniston as I live only 50 miles away. Keep up the good work. Connie T.

I received my service grade Greek HRA and I am truly pleased with the quality of the rifle and the fast turn around time. Thank you for your hard work, and for making these excellent rifles available at such great prices!  Best regards, Todd K.

A couple weeks ago I received my 1903 Springfield and my Kimber 22 target rifle. Both were received in excellent condition. Packaging was the greatest. I have had the time to shoot the Kimber, and it sure shoots better than I do. I'm waiting for release of service grade M-1s and the replacement M-1 barrels to be offered again. Looking forward to future business with you folks. By the way I just received 2 trigger locks today. Thanks and keep up the good work. Neal A.

Received my M1 Garand yesterday, well pleased with the rifle. The wood stock is rough (and I knew it would be) but it will refinish to satisfaction. The H&R receiver & barrel are very nice. Regards, Robert M.

My Greek Issue Service Grade M1 arrived today. This is my first purchase from CMP but it will NOT be my last. The gun is fabulous and I look forward to shooting it. I was kept up to date via email about the progress of my order and the M1 arrived when you said it would. Again thank you very much. From a very pleased M1 Garand Owner . Stephen B .

I have known about the CMP program for years, but I never took advantage of it. I was at the Houston gun show in January, and was surprised to see you (CMP) there with tables and tables of rifles. I was even more
surprised that you could pick out a particular rifle and "reserve" it. This has to be the best new practice that you have started. I watched the crowd feverishly inspect, ask questions, and pick out rifle after rifle. One gentleman loitered near and waited patiently for hours as rifles were reserved and put away, and then more rifles were brought out. He told me he wasn't going to pass this opportunity up to "reserve" them as it may never happen again. He ended up picking out all 8 of his rifles for the year. I ended up reserving a Greek Service Grade and promptly sent in my paperwork. It showed up about 30 days later. I am very pleased with it. I had previously been reluctant due to the fact that it normally is a "luck of the draw". I can only say one thing. I hope that you continue to visit the gun shows around the country and offer this unique opportunity to others. My only concern is that you make it back to Houston, and that if you do, there are still plenty for me. Thanks. Jarrod B.

I'd like to take a minute to say thanks for the prompt service and nifty gun. I have a nice birch stock set and a couple of color matching parts to make it into a really nice Garand match gun. Thanks again, Eric S.

CMP, I just wanted to relay the following story: I recently was able to sight in my recently purchased M1 and 1903 Springfield. After firing rounds at all ranges between 100-300 yds with both rifles, I was almost out of ammunition and I wanted to see if the "battle sight" on the '03 really was set for the 547 yds that the WWI Infantry Drill Regulation manual claimed, and try my luck with the 500 yard target/gong. I had my 9 yr old son on the next bench over with field glasses spotting for me and fired my first round.  We both missed the impact. I fired a second round and we both saw the impact below the target in the dust. I adjusted my sight picture and my next 3 rds all "dinged the gong." To say that I was pleasantly surprised by the rifle's performance with iron sights and the Lake City 30.06 Match ammo would be an understatement. Both rifles are outstanding. Thanks again, Bob W. Bellevue, NE.

Just left the Big Reno gunshow where I laid away an H&R M-1 Service Grade rifle. This is an idea which I hope goes far, as making your choice from dozens of M-1s, '03s, and '17 Enfields laid out for customer inspection gives a chance to compare and pick a good one, though it's tough pulling one out of so many nice rifles. I'll have to figure a way to attend one of the Garand-Springfield-military rifle matches and put my new aquisition up against other shooter/collectors like me. It appears that CMP has been listening to gunfolks and has come up with one good idea after another. Keep it up. Steve C., Reno NV

The service was great! In only two weeks my 1903A3 was at my house ready to be cleaned. The ladies that I dealt with over the phone were extremely helpful and friendly. This was my first purchase through the CMP and it has been a great experience. I have an FFL and have collected many other foreign WWII era rifles and have dealt with many companies but none were as pleasant as the CMP folks. As far as the rifle itself, I have not had a chance to check it out in detail but it seems to be in good shape. I will be buying again, most likely an Garand as my father was a WWII combat soldier and I would like to have one in his memory. Thanks Steven B . Oviedo, F.

Your telephone operators were very helpful and patient to a senior citizen with lots of questions making his first purchase. The two rifles I received a 1903 Springfield Mark I and an M-1 Garand were much nicer than I had expected. They will become part of a WW2 display my son (a NC Highway Patrolman) is setting up in his office to honor my father, his grandfather, who was killed in WW2. I expect my two brothers will also order a rifle as a memento of WW2. Thanks again for the great service. Miles L.E.

I received my 1903A3 today, and could not possibly be more pleased with it!!! Thank you so much for the quality product you provide. I look forward to taking it to the range this weekend with my two sons.
Again, many thanks, Mike B.

I just received my M-1917 from the CMP today. I am pleased to say that I could not have chosen a better one myself. The rifle has beautiful wood, and the finish on the metal is 95%. Should be a great shooter.  Thanks for all you do for us. Paul L. Texas
