Thank you very much for your outstanding service. Every time I send an Email I always get a professional and quick response. Keep up the great work....George T.

I've purchased three rifles from the North Store over the past year: In 2005, George helped me pick out a Garand, and then a 1903A3; and two weeks ago Bob helped me pick out another Garand. I am just beginning to learn about these rifles, so I really appreciate that George and Bob are so willing to spend time with me. I want to thank them for their help, because I really love these rifles. Steve M.

I visited the South Store in Anniston a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed with the friendly staff.  The armorers were very helpful in helping me select a Garand.  The office staff was very friendly and made it easy to make a purchase.  If the good Lord is willing, I will be back.  David H . CMP, This program is awesome.  I am so thrilled to get a piece of history. I look forward to getting my M1.  I had a question about my order and I called in and Sandra who answered the phone was so nice and helpful.  I could not believe the customer service that was exhibited.  Thanks for all of your hard work and most of all thanks for your fantastic customer service.  Lawson L. I received M-1 today and was pleasantly surprised with the condition.  I would also like to thank the CMP staff I spoke to there.  They were most helpful and I enjoy reviewing the web site.  Thanks to all.  Robert M.

I just wanted to thank all of the great people at CMP for the outstanding service you all provide to the American shooter and collector.  I have just received a woodless Danish less wood rifle in fantastic condition and am pleased in all respects.  Thanks again for the invaluable service and dedication that makes the CMP staff second to none.  Sincerely, Charles B.

I just received my M1 Correct Grade Garand, and when I opened the box I was stunned!  This rifle is BEAUTIFUL!  This was my first order with CMP, but it surely will not be my last- I mailed my order the last week of June and had my rifle 3 weeks to the day after I received CMP's email saying my order had been received!  Many thanks!  This rifle is going to be a joy to shoot for years! I competed in my very first match at Camp Perry. The
National Rimfire Sporter Match. I just wanted to let you you know how much I
enjoyed myself. I came with two friends of mine. We had so much fun. I also
wanted to give a special compliment to SGT JACK ELLIOT, he was our line
officer. I was shooting in the first relay in position 4. On the fourth
stage sitting/kneeling I became dehydrated and developed a serious leg
cramp/spasm. He helped me to get up and move around and also made sure that
I had water to drink. When we went to the 25yd line and he had the Medical
officer come stand behind me and make sure that I was OK. The
professionalism and caring manner of the National Guard is very much
appreciated. The staff of the Sporter Match was fantastic. They were all
very helpful, I know they all had fun too. My friends and I will be back
next year for the Sporter Match. I just wanted someone to know how much I
personally appreciated the staff and the the workers of the Sporter Match.
If there is a special award for service for the Guard members who helped us
out please pass it along. If there is a recognition award for the line
officers please give Jack Elliot the award he deserves it. Thank you very
much for taking the time to read this e-mail. I am already looking forward
to next year. Please pass along a THANK YOU to all involved with the match.
Sincerely
ROBERT F.

We just wanted to drop a line to the CMP to say "Thank You" for everything yesterday at the Rimfire Sporter Match. This was my second year to shoot in the match, and my husband's first. Gary Anderson is truly an amazing person. His demonstrations of proper shooting techniques and tips really helped me understand better the mechanics of good shooting, and as a result, my score improved over last year. He has done a wonderful job of making shooting competitions something that the average person can enjoy. I can't say that I have ever had the privilege of meeting an Olympic gold medalist, but I can sure say that now! I have found that the rimfire match just isn't about scores, rifles, wind, sun, thunderstorms, and Bald Eagles, but its about forging lifetime friendships with people that have similar passions. What a thrill to see people of all ages, families, and friends all having a great time, regardless of the weather.
Please thank the staff for all their hard work all day long. They went the extra mile to make sure that everything was done right (and it was). The food was great also. Please don't change a thing!!
Looking forward to next year,
Jennifer B.
(PS-My husband John and I shot the same exact T-class score! Ha Ha!)

Just wanted to let you know what a great job the cmp stats/posting for the inner service championships are doing. It is really great to see the scores posted as they are falling back. It makes me feel like I'm there.

Hi, Christine,  Good hearing from you, as always, and thanks (as always) for sending along the C.M.P. SHOOTER'S NEWS. Even when the only mail I get is a bunch of bills, you're always there with my "SHOOTER'S NEWS". I just bought (through the NRA) a copy of NRA Executive Vice-President Wayne LaPierre's scary new book "THE GLOBAL WAR ON YOUR GUNS", and it's got me "hoppin' mad" - - but that is a story for another day and time.

Hope all is going well with you and the other fine folks there at the CMP.

With very warmest personal regards,

PETE

To all involved, we were very surprised to receive our order in such a short period of time, great effort on your part.  The service grade M1 was in my opinion in excellent condition, Internal mechanism appeared as new issue.  Your company and staff deserve many thanks, you will receive another order in the near future.  "May God bless you and yours."  Best regards, Michael K.

I just wanted to let you know how great it is to track the Interservice Matches in near real time using the CMP Competition Tracker. I am a member of the USAR Shooting team, and am not able to shoot with my team this year because of other military obligations. I almost feel like I'm there with the team as the scores are posted. Thanks a ton!

I just wanted to say thanks again for all the hard work you do to bring these historic firearms of history to the shooter and collector.  The staff at CMP and the quality of service, as has been said many times before, are truly second to none.  I have received several M1 Garands and all of them will be treasured and cared for the way they deserve.  But the true treasure is the CMP and all of the good people involved in this effort.  Thanks so much again, Charles

I have never ordered from CMP before. The experience was wonderful. I spoke with two ladies that were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I received my first order of books and ammunition as soon as it was processed by CMP. The rifles I ordered were scheduled to arrive 90-120 days from order date, and I got them after only 45 days. I was surprised me that they were in wonderful condition, even though they were "service grade" rifles. I will continue to purchase rifles and supplies from ODCMP. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Darin B.

Many, many thanks for all the help rendered to me while at the South Store today. Orest Michaels (did I get this right) gave me personal attention when I couldn't locate any stripped barreled 03 receivers. He personally brought out a large selection for me to pick through. What a class act! David M.

WOW, what great service!  As a first time CMP buyer, I ordered my Service Grade M1 Garand on 6/23/06, fully expecting to wait at least the 60-120 days as listed on the order.  What a surprise when my M1 was delivered today 7/13/06!!!!   It was in much better shape than I expected and am quite happy with it.  I also have an order in for a 1903 Springfield and am anxiously awaiting it.  As the modern equivalent of the old DCM, I thought you might be interested in a little "trivia":  In 1963 the then DCM had a rifle sales program going with the NRA working thru US Army Arsenals.  At that time I was able to acquire a Remington 1903-A3 in great condition for the delivered price of $14.50!!!!!  I was also able to acquire an Inland Division M1 Carbine, also in great condition for its delivered price of $20.00!!!!!   At the time they were also selling M1911 pistols for the price of $50.00 but I was unable to get one at that time.  Boy have times changed!!!!!!  Thanks again for my M1.   Tom M .  MA

I just wanted to thank you for my recent purchase of an M-1. I was very impressed with the service and speed of the delivery of my rifle. I was amazed at the condition that the rifle arrived in. I was surprised at the condition as it was much nicer than what I imagined that it would arrive in. I was so impressed that I am going to order a M-1903. I have also shown many of my police sniper team mates and they are all in the process of filling out the paperwork to get themselves a M-1. I am looking forward to years of safe shooting with a piece of military history. If only that rifle could talk. Thanks again. Tim S.

After thirty three years in Law Enforcement most of that in firearms and tactical training. I have retired and have the opportunity to enjoy some of the publications, that in the past I was too busy to do. Your "First Shot" magazine that i receive each month is excellent. i can see what the youth programs are doing and follow the national matches with ease. Thank you so much for this publication, keep up the good work.

Dear CMP;    I have recently received a SG SA M1 Garand from CMP.  On inspecting the rifle I discovered a crack in the stock that went from the receiver to the cheek piece of the stock.  I sent an email to customer service with some photos of the crack.  They had me send the stock back to them and sent me a replacement stock back in 5 days time.  I am very please[:D]with the replacement stock that CMP sent me.  I am going to refinish this M1 and give it to my son for his 18th birthday.  This is the second rifle I had purchased from CMP this year, the first one was a 1903 SA rifle, and I am very pleased with the rifles and CMP's service. Douglas R .

Dear CMP :    Many thanks to everyone there. After about 9 weeks of grueling anticipation I received the two ( 2 ) "Field Grade" Garands that I ordered and WOW are they well worth the wait. I tried both a couple of weeks ago and now shooting anything else just isn't as fun any more. The quality far surpasses anything I was expecting. When I can gather more "Funding" I promise I'll be back in touch, not only is it a good  investment but it's allot of fun too. Thanks again to all involved.  Gerry A .  Roswell GA.
