Dear CMP, I have received my carbine and am delighted at its condition and appearance. My local firearms dealer was able to set me up with magazines, sling and oiler, bayonet, and ammunition. My son and I took it to the range this afternoon and with a few tweaks of sight adjust I was shooting the X ring out of the target at about 30 yards. Thanks, Barry M.

Wow! I just received my M1 Carbine. It is great. It is amazing to think that one of my old WW2 buddies could have actually carried this on their little camping  trip across europe which began D-Day plus 1.I only wish they were here to see how proud I am to own this treasure.Thank You Very Much!  Steve S., Keota,IA

Dear CMP Representative:  Thanks so much for your service to the public. I recently received an Inland M1 Carbine from CMP. It looked great, the stock was very nice, the metal was in very nice shape and the action seemed very smooth. Since we were going on vacation, I didn’t get a chance to shoot it right away. Shooting it got put off and now, finally, I got a chance to take it to the range and give it a go. It functioned flawlessly and was accurate and a pleasure to shoot. OK.  I wish I'd ordered more than one but I SURELY am happy with the one you sent me.  This little Inland M1 Carbine is one of the nicest rifles it's been my pleasure to own.  Until now I thought the Mausers and Garands were the best.  Maybe they are in some respects but this carbine is a definite favorite. Thanks Folks and keep up the good work!!!!  Thank You,  Mark W.

I received my M1 carbine last week and I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only was it very clean (not a speck of grease to be found) cosmetically it is very nice and a really good shooter! This is my 1st carbine. If you get any more I'll be first in line! Thanks for the great service. T. H.

THANKS!! THANKS!! THANKS!!  Another wonderful and pleasant transaction with CMP. Over the past several years I have purchased 6 Garands, 1 1903 Springfield, and 1 1917 Enfield.  I have been very pleased with ALL. However, my recent Inland M1 Carbine purchase was the best yet. When I opened the box I shouted with joy!! Super condition for a 1943 model -- LOVE IT and can not wait until you start taking orders for the others!  Keep up the great work and service to our nation.   Ted W. Received a long box this morning, eagerly tore it open and there it was. Beautiful !  The Carbine you sent is great, well worth the slight wait. After cleaning it I will be off to the range. I have been ordering rifles from The CMP for a few years and have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work. Your ammunition is great also.

Boy- after reading your feedback comments the folks at your company must feel pretty good about themselves.I find it hard to believe that you had a customer that waited over 6 months for a Garand that never came and finally got disgusted and cancelled.I bet you still don't have any sort of response for me, do you? Hello to All,  I ordered and eagerly awaited the arrival of an Inland M1 carbine. It arrived recently.  Other than needing some detailing (removal of dry/sticky preservative) it was in good condition. It seems to have an original barrel (marked 4-44) also from Inland.  This rifle is intended to be used at the National Matches M1 carbine match this year.  I had to share one at last year's event.  I am well pleased. I hope to obtain a Winchester version later this year.  This will go with the Winchester M1 Garand and M1917 I already have on hand.  Thanks Again,  Herman B .

Well, I'm not yet a customer, but I tried to be. You're sold out! No M1 Garands!  My reason for buying is two fold. My Navy boot camp training (1953)  included a week of small arms training. We shot the M1 at Camp Elliot in San Diego. It was the first I'd ever shot high power, and I qualified "sharpshooter".   Second, the M1 Garand was patented on my birthday; 09 January, 1936.  Sure anxious to get my order in, come October!  Ron  I, Utah .

I received my Inland Carbine recently & wanted to say thanks. My Carbine has a matching Inland barrel & a Birch stock. Overall it  is in great shape .It will remain in my collection & will also get good use at the local Range.   Lee M.

Looks like you still have a great program. My first experence with CMP was in the late 1950,s when I purchased a 03A3 and a M1 carbine. I hope to purchase a few more rifles in the near future, and get back into shooting again. Thanks for the service you provide. Jim H.

Just received my Inland Carbine. Very nice 917xxx with a nice 10-43 Inland barrel in very good condition. I couldn't have asked for more. Fast service concidering the overwhelming pile of orders CMP received. Thanks for all your hard work and I promise yto give this Inland care and respect this piece of American history deserves. I received my Inland M1 Carbine the other day and it is in great shape. All I can say is that it and the M1 Garands and M1903's that I also bought from CMP are all in great shape.
