To Everyone at The CMP,  I just received my 1903 Springfield LN on 23 Dec. I had read the description and wasn't quite sure what to expect. Upon opening the box I was so pleased I almost fell over. Once again everyone there has done an outstanding job in access to detailed information, misc. products and providing quality firearms to its members.  Thank you, and Happy Holidays to all.  Craig T .

Best Wishes to all the employees of the north store, I had to ship my M-1 carbine due to a delay in NICS, arrived a few days ago. What a continued pleasure to shop at the north store where you have the finest employees I have ever dealt with, Debbie, George, Mike , Tommy, Etc If I missed anyone it's only because of a senior moment and I can't remember your name. CMP you are so lucky. Regards Dave B.

I wanted to let you know about the Saginaw M1 Carbine I got a few months ago.  While waiting for it to arrive, I took a lot of ribbing from a friend at work, who had carried a carbine when he was in a field artillery unit in the late 1950s.  He said I was "spending my children's inheritance."  I told him they would inherit something far more valuable than the dollars I would spend on the rifles I get from CMP.  When I opened the carton, I was amazed at the condition of the carbine.  Genuine GI stock with Augusta Arsenal rebuild cartouches, metal nearly perfect.  I cleaned the grime from the wood, steamed out the dents, and gave it a multi-coat finish of tung oil.  Then I put it into my truck and took it to my friend to "show off" a bit.  He was stunned--said it looked a lot better than the one he had carried in Hawaii in the Army.  I was afraid the was going to salivate on it.  My son and I took it to the farm and test-fired it a few rounds.  He was smitten.  Couldn't believe how well it grouped three rounds on the target.
Thanks, CMP, for a fine little carbine and a large chunk of military history.  Jim C., old tanker and new carbine owner.

Hello CMP. I received my H&R Garand yesterday and I was elated to see a brand new Gov't. Garand. I can not decide if I am going to shoot the H&R, or just keep it as received. I have other Garands that I do shoot. As always, your staff is the best! Thanks, Mark S.

I ordered two rifles while deployed with the Army to Iraq. When I came home to open them many months later, I was shocked at the beauty of them. One of them, in particular, has the most beautiful grain of any rifle I've ever seen! Thank you! Ryan S.

It was my first time visit to the South store December 5, and I left meeting a lot of nice people and with a "new" 1/55 Springfield M1 correct grade with perfect metal and wood that could not have been better unless I picked it up at Springfield in 1955.   Thanks to the good people at CMP South.  Doug D .

Dear CMP: I looked up Customer Service in my Webster's, and there was CMP listed as the definition! Seriously though, I sent back 3 Carbine mags out of a group of 10 that I had ordered, due to the fact that they were not usable. I was too quick in sending them back I guess, because you had gone ahead and sent me a return shipping label. Anyway, I sent the mags on Monday by Priority Mail, and on Friday, my replacements showed up. Unbelievable! That's not the best part. The replacement mags went way beyond my expectations. Someone must have hand picked them because they are mint condition, if not new. Not a mark on them. Thanks very much for your service. You folks have to be very busy with orders these days, and for you to take the time to resolve this for me is great. I look forward to future business with CMP. Steve L.

Just wanted to commend your fine staff, especially Tommy Phillips, for the assistance provided to me on 3 Dec 08. From the time I walked in, to the time I left everyone was cordial and very helpful. Mr Phillips went above and beyond in his assistance in helping me procure a correct Inland for my paratrooper stock. After driving 300 miles and not knowing what to expect I received a very pleasant surprise. Thanks again Charles M .

I had meant to write this previously. I ordered a SA M1 Garand prior to deploying and asked that it be expedited due to my impending deployment, so my wife wouldn't have to deal with it while I was gone. Thanks to your fine work, the rifle arrived promptly. Thanks so much for the great service. Capt Josh R.
