National Matches PlanningThe CMP, NRA and Ohio Adjutant General’s Department held their bi-annual National Matches Planning Conference on 9 November 2004.  Plans for the 2005 National Matches were finalized.  The 2005 program will basically be the same as the 2004 program.  The CMP, for example, will again conduct an M16 EIC match as well as the full CMP Games program (Garand, Springfield and Rimfire Sporter Matches) and all of the regular National Trophy Rifle Matches.  The NRA and CMP are considering a major revision to the National Matches schedule in 2006.  No final decisions on schedule changes have been made yet and both organizations plan to seek input from competitors before any changes are made.
