Member of the Oregon National Guard Of Grants Pass Oregon.

Phenomenal shooting won Larry Genter the historic "Wimbledon Cup"

Contested for by American Riflemen since 1874 at the National Matches, Camp Perry, Ohio.

Because Genter used the issued service rifle, he also was awarded the "Farr Trophy", two gold medals and a cash prize.

Genter hit the bulls - eye twenty times at 1000 yards (more than a half of a mile). Ten Of the shots were dead center.
